Homeowners are ALWAYS Welcome! Please let us know if you would enjoy helping to shape our community!
Crime Watch Committee
The Crime Watch committee oversees touring the neighborhood looking for suspicious activity. Recently, criminals have been canvassing the neighborhood checking for unlocked cars during the early hours of the morning. If you see anything suspicious, please contact the GC Police department and report it. We have asked toe GCPD to increase night patrols in the neighborhood.
Welcome / Social Committee
The welcome committee serves to welcome new homeowners into our community. Committee members greet new residents and deliver a packet with community information and a welcome gift of the committee's choosing.
Landscaping Committee
Our Landscaping Committee helps to ensure that the Braemoor common areas are maintained. A hired landscaper maintains these areas to include mowing, bush trimming, and weed control.
Please contact a board member, attend a monthly meeting, or send an email to hoa@braemoor.org if a common area needs attention.
The HOA pays Solitude Lake Management Company for monthly treatments to maintain our retention pond. One can easily see the difference pond treatments have made. We went from the before to the after in a few months and now Solitude is in a "maintain the pond mode". Listed are services provided by the Lake Management Co.
- Pond inspection / monitoring
- Trash / Debris collection (around the drainage area)
- Shoreline weed control
- Lake weed control
- Algae control
If you happen not to live with your backyard facing the pond, the easiest way to see and enjoy it can be from the open space at the end of Turnbury.

Covenants and Restrictions Committee
Covenants and Restrictions (C&R) are an important part of maintaining the appearance of our community. Your HOA is charged with the responsibility of enforcing the C & R requirements throughout the community.
Examples of common violations are:
- Trashcans not being stored properly after trash pickup. The covenant requires that cans be stored out of view.
- Lawns, bushes and gardens not maintained properly. Lawns need to be mowed and edging along concrete enhances the appearance of the home. Bushes become overgrown and need trimming.
- Vinyl siding gets dirty over time and covered with mold. Pressuring washing with a bleach solution helps to keep the home clean. There are services available to maintain the cleanliness of the vinyl siding and trim.
- Overnight parking on the road or grass: The covenant requires that vehicles be parked in the driveway or garage.
- Boats and campers must be kept behind a fenced in area and out of view. In spring and summer, boats can only be parked in the driveway or roadside for cleaning and then must properly be stored.
For a complete list of our Covenant & Restrictions, go to the References page. If you would like to report a violation, email us at hoa@braemoor.org. All reported violations are kept strictly confidential.
